We also provide services relating to Motoring offences. These are regular occurrence and often happen in busy places. We are happy to assist and advise you and our motoring solicitors can providing advice & assistance and provide representation at court. Our solicitors are able to discuss the offence and assess your situation to determine the merit of your case. We can advise on the best course of action for you to take. If you have received a letter or summons to court, we can help you.
The fees listed in our fees page include;
- Taking instructions/preparation (2-3 hours)
- Considering evidence/documents
- Advice on plea/likely sentence, if sentencing is not clear, we may advise of the options the court has available in relation to sentencing.
- Representation (if necessary)
Not included in the fee
The fees do not include instruction of third parties such as an expert witness, taking further information from third parties/witnesses. Advice in relation to special reasoning hearing and advice in relation to any appeals. If you wish to involve multiple witnesses this will incur additional costs.

If you have entered a guilty plea and hearing date is listed
In the event you already decided to enter into a guilty plea and have received a hearing date we will;
- Meet with you and provide us instructions on what happened.
- We will consider initial disclosure, and any other evidence and provide advice.
- Arranging to take any witness statements if necessary (this will have an additional cost of £150 plus VAT).
- We will explain the court procedure to you so you know what to expect on the day of your hearing, and the sentencing options available to the court.
- We will conduct any further preparatory work, obtain further instructions from you if necessary and answer any follow up queries you have.
- We cannot provide a timescale of when your hearing will take place, as this depends on the court listing for that day.
- We will attend court on the day and meet with you before going before the court. We anticipate being at court for [e.g. half a day].
- We will discuss the outcome with you. If advice is required on appeal, this will carry an additional cost.
