Services included and other fees
In our fixed fees, the work we carry out is standard and they include;
Initial attendance, taking instructions, considering documents and providing you with advice based on your current circumstance. If you are unable to qualify for the category of your choice, then we may advise you of alternative routes to settlement and provide you with a list of documents.
The fixed prices set out in our fees section are for guidance only. Therefore, depending on the complexity of your case and the number of documents the price may change.
Advise you on the current Immigration law and whether you can, or already meet the requirements for the relevant application.
Considering all your supporting documents/evidence. When looking at your case as a whole, we will need to consider whether there are sufficient evidence provided to support your application. If there are insufficient evidence, we may advise you to obtain further evidence to strengthen your case.
We understand that in some cases there may be more work than agreed, this may be because of the complexity of each case or request for additional work. However, we shall inform you if this happens and provide you with an updated fee before commencing that work.
Prepare and submit your application and;
Advise you of the timescales and outcome of your application.
If your application is not granted, then we may advise you of the prospect of your appeal.
Please note that the above are all inclusive of the fixed fee and does not include any disbursements.
Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties such as visa fees. These will need to be paid for separately in addition to our fees. These could be visa fees, postage, interpreter, translation of documents, medical reports fees, mileage/travel expenses etc. This is not an exhaustive list and is purely for guidance.
Do I need an Interpreter?
If there are any language barrier that may affect the communication with our solicitor, you may request for an Interpreter, however their fees are separate to our fees.
We will normally spend up to one hour with you at our initial meeting, however, the number of hours depend on the complexity of your case, and these costs will increase. You may wish to bring a friend or a family member with you at an appointment to reduce these costs as instructing an interpreter may not always be required. You can choose any interpreter of your liking but do not have to use an interpreter of our choosing.
Home Office fees for making the application
You will need to pay this to the Home Office directly as part of the application process. This is not included in our fixed fee.
Immigration Health Surcharge
If you are required to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge, then you must pay this directly to the Home Office as part of your application. This is not included in our fixed fee.
